The Sixth Form represents a distinctive stage in a pupil’s journey. Here, pupils deepen their engagement with subjects, refine their intellectual interests and prepare for the world beyond school, university, and life at 25.
Pupils typically study a three A level programme, with the option of a fourth subject where appropriate. Teaching in the Sixth Form is discussion-based, rigorous and intellectually demanding. Alongside academic study, Sixth Form pupils take part in a programme of seminars, leadership opportunities, community engagement and reflective practice. These experiences connect the values of Mind, Spirit, and Heart with purposeful action beyond the classroom.
Pupils contribute through leadership within Houses and school committees, participation in service partnerships and outreach projects, and involvement in performances, public speaking and wider school events. They also take part in personal development and wellbeing seminars, alongside the Universities and Futures pathway, which provides structured guidance on university preparation, subject choices and future aspirations.
Through mentoring, workshops and individual guidance, pupils explore high education opportunities, reflect on their interests and strengths, and develop the confidence to pursue ambitious and well-informed next steps.
Through this integrated programme, pupils develop confidence in their identity, a sense of responsibility to others and the maturity needed to navigate life beyond school.
