Our curriculum is carefully structured to support each stage of a pupil’s development, beginning with curiosity and exploration in the Early Years and progressing towards advanced and scholarly study in the Senior School. Rooted in the traditions of King’s College School, Wimbledon, it reflects a carefully curated British curriculum designed to cultivate knowledge, understanding and intellectual independence.
In the early stages, pupils build strong foundations in literacy, numeracy and inquiry through broad and engaging learning experiences. As they progress through the school, specialist teaching deepens understanding and encourages pupils to think critically, communicate clearly and engage seriously with ideas.
In the Senior school, pupils follow international recognised qualifications including IGCSEs and A levels preparing them for leading universities around the world. Throughout the journey, the curriculum is complemented by enrichment, leadership opportunities, and wider experiences that support the development of mind, spirit and heart.

As pupils progress into the senior stages, learning becomes more intellectually demanding. Subjects are explored in greater depth, with growing attention to conceptual understanding, technical accuracy and independent thought. By combining early breadth with increasing depth, the curriculum supports balanced intellectual growth and guides pupils towards purposeful academic specialisation.
During the IGCSE years, pupils develop secure conceptual understanding within each subject while strengthening their analytical and evaluative thinking.
They apply knowledge through extended tasks, practical work, and sustained study, gradually forming a clearer sense of their academic interests and strengths.
In the A level years, pupils select subjects that reflect their interests and emerging ambitions.
This allows for sustained engagement with complex ideas, extended reading and writing and increasing independence in research and study. Pupils develop mastery of subject-specific methods and ways of thinking while preparing carefully for study at leading universities.
The Personal Enrichment Programme (PEP) complements academic learning by providing structured opportunities for pupils to extend their thinking and experience beyond the classroom. Through a wide range of activities, pupils are encouraged to explore interests, develop new skills and engage meaningfully with the wider world.
The programme supports the development of leadership, resilience and confidence, while also nurturing creative and technical abilities. It encourages pupils to work collaboratively, contribute to their communities and gain a broader understanding of real-world challenges and opportunities.
Through the PEP, pupils learn to take initiative, persevere through challenge and reflect on their personal growth. In doing so, they practise the values of Mind, Spirit, and Heart in action.
