SUPPORTING SERVICES

Our pupils’ wellbeing underpins every part of school life. Through a strong tutor system and integrated pastoral support, King’s College Wimbledon Ho Chi Minh City seeks to ensure that each pupil feels safe, understood and able to flourish. Because tutors know their pupils well, support is proactive, with guidance offered early and encouragement given as pupils grow in confidence and maturity. This work is guided by the Pastoral Team and supported by specialists across the school, creating a network of care that helps pupils develop resilience, balance and a strong sense of belonging.

Pastoral Structure

Pastoral care is overseen by the Deputy Head (Pastoral) and the Safeguarding team, who work closely with tutors, Heads of House and counsellors. Regular pastoral meetings support a coordinated approach to pupil wellbeing, ensuring that pupils receive consistent support and that communication with families remains clear and supportive.

Pastoral Structure
Wellbeing And Counseling

Pupils have access to confidential counselling and emotional guidance from qualified professionals. This sits alongside a proactive Personal, Social, Health and Education (PSHE) curriculum that supports healthy relationships, resilience, reflective habits and a balanced approach to digital life.

Pupils also benefit from:

  • peer mentoring;
  • trained wellbeing ambassadors;
  • open communication between home and school.

Together, these elements help to create a culture in which pupils feel able to seek guidance and know that support is always close at hand.

Learning Support And Inclusion

Learning Support is led by the Head of Inclusion, who oversees provision for pupils with specific learning needs. Support is integrated into classroom life wherever possible, reflecting King’s College Wimbledon Ho Chi Minh City belief that inclusion forms part of academic excellence. Plans are developed in close collaboration with teachers, tutors and pastoral leaders so that pupils receive thoughtful and timely guidance, enabling them to engage fully with the life of the school.

Health And Safety

The school maintains on-site medical provision and works with external specialists where appropriate. Health education, including nutrition, physical wellbeing and digital safety, is reinforced through PSHE and the wider life of the school, helping pupils develop balanced habits that sustain long-term wellbeing.
